BitHub is a collective hub for Computer Science students to apply their skills in collaborative projects, whether devised by faculty or otherwise. Through the program, students are afforded the opportunity to work on projects mentored by Computer Science faculty, as part of an initiative to encourage undergraduate and graduate students of varying backgrounds to get involved in projects that provide real-world experience. In a joint effort between Faculty Computing Services and the Department of Computer Science, this program supports academic and hands-on projects to foster innovation and allow students to put their skills to work while providing a service to the Hofstra community.
